South Carolina Treasurer announces purchase of $30 million in Israel bonds

State Treasurer Curtis Loftis announced today that his office is purchasing $30 million in Israel bonds for the state’s investment portfolio.

“Israel has been a strategic economic partner of South Carolina for many years, and this latest investment reaffirms our state’s financial commitment to support them during this war with Hamas,” said Treasurer Loftis. “I am fervent in my support of Israel and her people as they defend themselves from these unprovoked terrorist attacks. We continue to pray for the families and victims being impacted by this senseless violence.”

Since 2011, the State Treasurer’s Office has invested $155 million in Israel bonds.
